Aspen Germany made a meaningful Mandela Day difference at the Condrobs e.V. facility for mothers and children in need in Münich.

Caritas was established about 50 years ago. It is a temporary safe space and focuses on wellbeing facilities for at least ten mothers and their children from birth to six years.

Our team of 11 Aspen volunteers painted selected areas at the home to create a more appealing environment. The garden also received a much-needed.  The area around the terrace was weeded, raspberries were planted and a new Hollywood swing was installed for the children’s outdoor pleasure.

The team enjoyed the opportunity to make a difference for others who they do not even know. We all left with content spirits knowing that our day had been beneficial to the residents at the home.
