Bagázs gets a mini-facelift

The Bagázs Public Benefit Association, located in the Roma settlement of Bag, is an NPO that focuses on the upliftment of needy members of the community.

While Bagázs does not provide donations of money, food or clothing, its programmes are highly effective in improving school attendance, promoting employment and self-improvement, providing counselling to assist withdebt management and decreasing crime and illiteracy.

Aspen supported Bagázs with materials and manpower needed to improve their facilities by, among others, recycling tyres to serve as rubber furniture which was placed next to the football field and office container, building a sidewalk around the office and repairing the fence.
