With a spirit intent on sharing love and care in our community, we visited the Chung Sing Benevolent Society Gan Low Khoon Choo Social Service Centre on 22 January 2024 to bring joy and to support 100 elders.

The Chung Sing Benevolent Society provides dedicated health, recreational, educational, and voluntary services to middle-aged and elderly residents in the district.

Our event began by packing lucky bags for the elders. These bags were carefully prepared and filled with essential items and Fai Chun which is symbolic of good luck and blessings to meet daily needs and bring joy.

Once the bags were packed, the event kicked off with engaging activities and games, fostering a lively and interactive atmosphere. One of the highlights of the day was the remarkable singing performance by some of the elders, showcasing their talents and bringing delight to everyone present.

The day concluded when we shared the lucky bags, accompanied by smiles and warm expressions of gratitude.

This act of distributing the bags served as a symbol of care and appreciation to the elders for their contributions to our community.

It was an incredible day filled with meaningful interaction, laughter, and lasting memories which was thoroughly enjoyed by the elderly residents and Aspen volunteers alike.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who generously contributed to the success of this charity event. Their dedication and generosity played a vital role in spreading joy and support to our elderly community members, enabling them to experience a sense of belonging and fulfillment.
