Volunteers arranged a day filled with engaging activities to celebrate Mandela Day at the Group’s offices in Grand Baie, Mauritius.  These activities included interactive sessions and games, creative displays of posters and poems, and enlightening presentations by the students on the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela. The celebrations concluded with a delicious lunch for the young students. AGI is also sponsoring the purchase and installation of three sunshades at I CAN’s premises to provide shelter for the children during the hot summer.

Mr Mandela, a symbol of peace, resilience, and social justice, dedicated his life to fighting for equality and human rights. By educating these young minds about his contributions, the team aimed to encourage and instil values of perseverance, compassion, and community service with the children.

Registered in 2013, I CAN cares for special needs students and assists in developing their creativity and basic skills. This NGO has a staff complement of about 20 which includes teachers, psychologists and physiotherapists.
